The Opportunity

KBR are seeking an experienced SCEC Consultant to join our established Defence team working on exciting and complex projects of national significance.

As a SCEC Consultant you will:

Provide expert advice on physical security measures in line with the Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) standards.

Conduct site inspections risk assessments and compliance audits for high-security environments.

Collaborate with government agencies and defence clients to design and implement secure facilities.

Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies to ensure best-practice solutions.

Ideally the candidate with have a background in Security Engineering Electrical and ICT so that they may integrate with the wider team in delivery of projects across various other market sectors.

What Were Looking For

SCEC Endorsed Consultant accreditation (essential).

Strong knowledge of PSPF/DSPF and related security frameworks and standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Current security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Other requirements:

Class 2 Security Licence (or eligibility to obtain in your home State/Territory).

Previous consulting/design/technical experience in the Defence Government Transport or Critical Infrastructure fields as a security engineer/electrical/ICT engineer.

Who are you

To be successful in this position you require a Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years Security Consulting experience along with SCEC Approved Security Zone registration (or the eligibility to become so).
