Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Hamilton NZ. This role will take overall responsibility for managing projects of varying size and complexity ensuring successful delivery from scoping to execution in alignment with PMI principles. You will lead projects within agreed budget timeline scope and quality standards while driving customer satisfaction and contributing to business results.

What you will do

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Have overall responsible for project execution and provide project leadership to deliver the project.
  • Secure project deliverables according to project agreement (contract) and act according to responsibilities in the project charter.
  • Breakdown and plan the project into phases and fulfil the plan and project milestones in time and in full according to budget.
  • Drive productivity in project through utilization of global reusable solutions processes and tools (project governance risk management resource management communications etc.). - Manage internal and external scope changes and issues.
  • Secure project communication and documentation according to project communication plan. - Provide lessons learned and providing input to improvement or development of processes and tools.
  • Deliver on schedule scope cost quality and customer relationship - Internal (Project Centres Business Units and Product companies) and external (direct contact with customers suppliers and sub suppliers) on Project Centre level
  • Be based in Hamilton and deliver projects across NZ with ability and willingness to travel and experience opportunities to also work globally We believe you have
  • Proven or developing track record and experience in the management of projects of varying nature size and complexity.
  • Strong leadership communication & negotiation skills and the ability to manoeuvre through political and cultural situations effectively
  • A University degree or equivalent and Project Management fundamentals.
  • Experience primarily in the Dairy Industry and typical processes and interest and/or capability in new growth areas / markets potentially including sustainability wastewater and plant-based products

We believe you have

  • Proven or developing track record and experience in the management of projects of varying nature size and complexity.
  • Strong leadership communication & negotiation skills and the ability to manoeuvre through political and cultural situations effectively
  • A University degree or equivalent and Project Management fundamentals.
  • Experience primarily in the Dairy Industry and typical processes and interest and/or capability in new growth areas / markets potentially including sustainability wastewater and plant-based products
