What Youll Do

  • Lead and manage high-performing engineering teams to design develop and deploy AI-enabled application modernisation improve engineering maturity and enable observability solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges co-create innovative engineered solutions and deliver measurable business value.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering cloud-native architectures and AI/ML integration to enhance system performance and resilience.
  • Oversee project delivery ensuring quality timeliness and alignment with client objectives and PwCs standards.
  • Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of continuous learning innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers data scientists and business analysts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Establish and enforce engineering governance security standards and compliance relevant to the financial services and insurance sectors.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technology trends and advise clients on leveraging AI-led modernisation to remain competitive.

What Were Looking For

  • A full-stack developer with 5-7 years of experience in solution architecture engineering advisory and managing engineering teams ideally within financial services insurance or similarly regulated industries.
  • Proven track record leading complex application modernisation initiatives leveraging AI cloud-native technologies and observability frameworks.
  • Strong capability to translate client business needs into technical requirements and engineering deliverables.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML applications microservices architecture DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles with an ability to build trust and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled at mentoring coaching and inspiring diverse teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements impacting software development in financial services and insurance.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in a matrix environment balancing technical leadership with business impact.
