Position Overview:
The Insurance Licensing Coordinator / Account Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in insurance licensing and compliance. This role combines licensing administration with customer success onboarding and account management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented proactive and dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience. Youll play a key role in onboarding new customers conducting platform demos and supporting agencies carriers and MGAs as they manage their licensing and appointment processes through our Client.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Proficiency and Client Engagement
Develop in-depth expertise in the company platform to deliver engaging professional product demonstrations.
Conduct demos for prospective clients showcasing the platforms value and capabilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on licensing and compliance during sales calls and client discussions.
Client Support Onboarding and Success
Lead onboarding sessions for new clients to ensure smooth implementation and successful platform adoption.
Provide proactive high-quality customer service and serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
Communicate with customers via email phone and video to answer questions provide training and resolve issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs between sales implementation and support.
Track client satisfaction identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to retention and growth initiatives.
Licensing and Appointments
Process new and renewal licenses address/contact changes and manage carrier state appointments (new renewal and termination).
Validate licensing and appointment status for agencies carriers MGAs and their producers to ensure compliance.
Research and interpret state requirements to determine applicable regulations and compliance standards.
Compliance and Regulatory Research
Monitor changes in insurance regulations and compliance standards across all states.
Review bulletins guidelines and industry updates from NAIC NIPR and Departments of Insurance.
Ensure all company materials and communications adhere to regulatory requirements.
Stay informed on NAIC NIPR and other industry organizations and standards.
Qualifications:
At least 3years of experience in insurance licensing within the Property & Casualty and/or Life Health & Disability sectors.
Strong knowledge of insurance laws compliance standards and licensing platforms (NAIC NIPR).
Experience managing client onboarding training or customer success in a SaaS or insurance environment preferred.
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Proven ability to research and interpret insurance regulations accurately.
Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated goal-oriented and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
