Job Summary
Coastal Horizons Center Inc. a recognized leader in substance abuse mental health rape crisis prevention and criminal justice services in southeastern North Carolina has an opportunity for a Therapist for our Child and Adolescent Day Treatment Program in Bladen County NC.
Provides a full range of substance use and mental health disorder therapeutic services for children adolescents and their families. Primary duties include counseling children adolescents and their families - with much of this taking place at various school sites. Performs regular therapist functions during school vacations and summer months.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited program with a masters degree in a human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse and/or mental health counseling experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LICSENSE: Possession of North Carolina licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Licensed Psychologist Licensed Psychological Associate Licensed Professional Counselor Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
