The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking two Heluna contractors. The candidates will be part of the Information Technology Department and will assist with tasks that fall under the umbrella of the IT Department with a focus on the Heluna Health staff hires IT help needs and return of equipment. The candidate must have good customer services skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment as a team member. Must be able to take initiative and think outside the box when troubleshooting technical problems. The candidate will be provided on-the-job training to perform this role.
Flexible hours Monday through Friday between 8:00 am 5:00 pm. The final work schedule will be determined by the supervisor.
This is a part time benefited position and the range is $30.00 to $35.00 an hour depending on experience and qualifications.
If hired for this position applicant will be required to provide proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to the start date; or have a valid religious or medical reason qualifying the applicant for an exemption (that may or may not require accommodation).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with installing configuring and imaging new computer hardware.
- Assist with installing configuring and troubleshooting software.
- Assist with installing and configuring state issued mobile devices as well as personal devices.
- Installation and troubleshooting the Microsoft family of products including Microsoft OS Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams e.g.
- Provide support for Mac OS and Apple devices.
- Provide general technical support of various softwares used on campus
- Provide support to remote users
- Troubleshoot network equipment and servers.
- Document procedures and create training guys related to work tasks.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills

Education/Experience

- Experience with installation and use of Microsoft products preferred.
