Job Summary

Summary: The Account Executive is a key driver of revenue growth tasked with managing the full sales cycle for creative event and experiential marketing solutions. You will combine an entrepreneurial spirit with a consultative approach to translate client marketing objectives into compelling high-impact live experiences. Alongside a robust marketing function you will be responsible for proactive prospecting leads and proposals and ultimately acquiring new clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Generate Growth: Proactively prospect and qualify new business opportunities diverse industries.
    • Collaborative Approach: Drive revenue by collaborating with marketing and business development team members and acquiring new prospects through outbound efforts.
    • Expand Our Reach: Consistently achieve or exceed assigned annual sales goals for both net-new business and existing account expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Trusted Partner: Cultivate and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
    • Main Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for clients understanding their brand marketing goals and vision for their events.
  • Creative Solution Selling:
    • Foster Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized innovative and visually compelling event proposals and presentations.
    • Close Deals: Present negotiate and close complex contracts articulating the creative and financial value of the proposed solution.
  • Project Oversight & Budgeting:
    • Budget Management: Collaborate with Producers on project budgets scopes and timelines ensuring solutions are delivered on-time within budget and to the clients creative specifications.
    • Client Liaison: Serve as the essential link between the client and the creative/production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Stay Current: Remain current with event industry trends emerging technologies and competitor activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven track record of 7 years in B2B sales preferably within the event trade show experiential marketing or creative agency industries.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in finding new business and managing the entire sales cycle from cold lead to contract close.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop unique solutions that solve a clients marketing challenges.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and presentation tools.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings site inspections and on-site event management.
