McKessons Risk Management team is seeking a captive professional to oversee the companys captive insurance entities. This role is responsible for optimizing the companys captive insurance strategy and advancing risk analytics capabilities. This role ensures compliance cost efficiency and strategic alignment of risk financing programs while leveraging data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Support day-to-day operations of company-owned captives including governance compliance audits and financial reporting.
Lead the governance framework for all captive insurance entities ensuring alignment with corporate policies and risk appetite.
In collaboration with captive managers develop and maintain business plans underwriting guidelines and investment policies for captives.
Coordinate with captive managers regulators auditors and captive boards to ensure adherence to domicile requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports and material for management executive committee and board meetings.
Monitor and report on captive performance including financial results risk exposures and compliance status.:
Support captive placements including policy pricing collateral requirements capacity limits policy drafting issuance and invoicing.
Administer enterprise-wide TCOR budgeting and cost allocation for commercial and captive premiums.
Enhance departments in-house data analytics capabilities through broader adoption of RMIS system and other available data sources.
Develop forecast and reporting tools to administer existing captives business and monitor key performance metrics of captive operations.
Deliver actionable insights and dashboards for senior leadership and captive boards.
Manage RMIS system (Admin) including user access training and system functionality.
Lead RMIS data management ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Develop dashboards and reports for captive support claims trends and key risk indicators.
Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve RMIS data quality.
Collaborate with RMIS vendor to implement enhancements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify new opportunities for captive utilization.
Support M&A due diligence integration and divestiture needs.
Promote a positive environment of collaboration and excellent stakeholder support.
Experience supporting insurance captives and risk management programs.
Lead and oversee the governance framework and day-to-day operations of all company-owned captive insurance entities ensuring compliance audits financial reporting and alignment with corporate policies and risk appetite.
Develop and maintain business plans underwriting guidelines and investment policies while monitoring and reporting on captive performance including financial results risk exposures and compliance
Strong understanding of financial statements and insurance principles with expertise in data management validation analysis and data-driven decision-making.
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Adaptable customer-focused self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills able to influence motivate and present persuasively across all organizational levels.
Hybrid office environment.
Accommodation to different time zones in continental US.
Travel up to 5% domestic and international.
