The Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati with the role of Technical Engineer.

In this role you will be a key contributor to the Banks technology modernization efforts by developing secure scalable applications across front-end and back-end layers enabling faster delivery of business capabilities through agile high-quality engineering practices. What the role will entail

Build secure scalable and maintainable front-end and back-end components aligned with coding standards and business requirements
Develop services and features that integrate seamlessly with internal systems or third-party platforms
Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and adherence to secure coding practices as well as support defect resolution
Participate in incident resolution enhancements and code refactoring to ensure system stability and performance
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
Protect applications from vulnerabilities

What were looking for

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field
Experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar development role
Solid hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java or Python
Proficiency in working with relational (MS SQL PostgreSQL MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for clean code optimization and continuous improvement
