Seasonal Ecologist

ADAS part of the RSK Group is seeking Seasonal Ecologists to join our highly skilled ecology team. These are fixed-term contract positions for six months throughout the busy spring and summer period to start in March / April with the potential to extend into a permanent position for the right are seeking Seasonal Ecologists to be based inBristol.

These roles are full of variety and our Ecology business comprises a highly skilled team focused on providing services to a wide range of clients particularly developers utility companies and the renewable energy and rural industries. Its a great opportunity to start your ecology career working with experienced ecologists on a variety of surveys and projects. We aim to get each Seasonal Ecologist involved in all aspects of ecological consultancy from quoting to surveys and the follow on reporting. Support and mentoring will be provided at all stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of ecological surveys (skills dependent) and assistsenior colleagues with other surveys to develop skill set
• Carryout desk studies consultations research data management and analysis and report writing
• Deliverwork as efficiently as possible in order to meet agreed timescales and quality standards

Person Specification

• Enthusiastic individual keen to develop an ecology career
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle*
• Someone open to flexible working with regard to the type of work timing and location with night and weekend work as and whenrequired
• Experience with European Protected Species survey work (not essential)

• 23809.50 per annum(full-time equivalent)
