We are looking for friendly and charismatic individualswith a positive work attitude who can use their own initiative and focus on providing exceptional visitor experiences as part of our warm and welcoming team. Our experience offering is varied and our visitors come from all over the world to learn about Glengoyne whisky so the ability to adapt and build rapport with different groups and communicating effectively is essential (multi-lingual skills would be highly desirable although not essential!).

The role of Seasonal Tour Guideis responsible for the delivery of tours tastings and other visitor focused activities at our Distillery the full job profile is viewable below. The visitor centre typically operates between 10:00 - 18:00 seven days per week however this is dependent on the needs of thebusiness and hours may vary in line with consumer demand. We are therefore looking for individuals who can be flexible in their availability.

Glengoyne is located North of Glasgow on the A81 at Dumgoyne and it is anticipated that applicants should be within commuting distance of the distillery and ideally with their own transport given the remote addition given the industry and product we service to be considered for a role applicants must be aged 18 or over. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate that they currently have the required documents to live and work in the UK.

What We Will Provide You

This is a temporary job opportunity with anhourly rate of 13.45. In addition we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a generous holiday allowance pension contributions and product discount to name but a few.

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate flexibility as this role offers a mix of full-time and part-time hours on fixed-term contracts running either from March to October 2026 or March to November 2026. Ourroles are offered on an annualised hours contractmeaning you will receive a guaranteed monthly income.

We anticipate interviews will take place on 9th or10th February 2026. For successful candidates a comprehensive two-week induction is scheduled for the weeks commencing 16th and 23rd March running Monday to Thursday from 9:00to 17:00.
