Position
WCF is an A Rated insurance carrier that is growing in the western U.S. and is looking for an applicant that wants to join a company with a great culture competitive pay and benefits. The Sales and Distribution department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Manager Sales Operations Systems. This is a full-time hybrid and exempt position based in WCFs Sandy Utah office. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business-side deployment configuration and ongoing support of the CRM and commission systems in collaboration with IT and vendor partners.
- Ensure both platforms are aligned with business needs scalable and compliant with insurance industry standards.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to optimize sales processes define performance metrics and ensure accurate commission tracking.
- Provide tools and insights that enhance visibility into sales performance and customer engagement.
- Maintain data integrity and develop reports for performance and compensation tracking.
- Develop and deliver reports that support decision-making compensation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a liaison between Sales IT Finance and Compliance to ensure systems meet operational technical and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate training change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build a team and create new capabilities that are grounded in data and customer insight.
- Build and lead cross functional councils and external committees aimed at driving continuous improvement and practical innovation.
- Implement AI driven insights and analytics to optimize reporting business development and overall relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Insurance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations insurance distribution or CRM implementation.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products and commission structures.
- Proven experience working with IT teams on system implementations and ongoing support.
- Excellent communication analytical and project management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Microsoft Dynamics) and commission systems.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in insurance sales and compensation.
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities.
- Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration transparency and trust.
An internal candidate should have six months in their current position have acceptable job performance and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
WCF Insurance offers an extensive compensation package. Benefits include Medical Dental and Vision insurance company paid life insurance 401K with a generous 6% employer match and additional benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and time off to volunteer in the local community. All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation in their first year. Expected salary for this position is $100000 - $140000 depending on experience and education.
