What were looking for: DRP is currently seeking a full-time detail-oriented and mission-driven Data Manager to support our Youth Services programs including the Youth Recovery House. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate data collection reporting and analysis to strengthen outcomes for young adults ages 1824 receiving substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring services. Compensation Range:The starting pay rate for this position is $55000 per year and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. This is a salaried role that is ineligible for overtime compensation. The Ideal candidate will: - Manage and maintain all program data systems ensuring timely and accurate entry tracking and reporting of service utilization and participant outcomes.
- Develop refine and update data collection tools processes and workflows to support program evaluation and compliance with CCBHC and grant requirements.
- Generate routine reports for internal leadership funders auditors and community partners.
- Collaborate with program managers clinicians and support staff to ensure documentation meets quality standards and aligns with organizational policies.
- Conduct periodic data reviews to identify trends performance gaps and opportunities for quality improvement.
- Train staff on data entry expectations reporting procedures and best practices for data accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure data security and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Support grant writing and renewal processes by providing required data summaries and outcome information.
- Serve as a positive role model fostering an environment rooted in respect recovery principles and youth empowerment.
- Have a great attitude and people skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Have a flexible work schedule to include the occasional evening holiday and weekend as needed.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelors degree in data management public health social sciences information systems or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
- First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
Training in human services behavioral health or related fields preferred. Experience working with youth or young adults particularly those with substance use or co-occurring disorders strongly preferred. Ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing supportive guidance. Strong communication problem-solving and observational skills. Experience working in behavioral health CCBHC environments or youth-focused programs preferred. Strong proficiency in data systems databases spreadsheets and reporting platforms. Excellent attention to detail analytical skills and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy. Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality standards and secure data management practices. Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide training or technical assistance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed. - A valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Drivers License proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records Systems.
