Sales Engineer

Coder is hiring a Sales Engineer to support our growing EMEA customer base. Your deep platform knowledge helps enterprises remove friction from coding and keeps developers in flow.

You partner with Account Executives guide Fortune 500 pilots and ensure smooth production rollouts. Together we design demo and troubleshoot environments that transform how teams ship code.

What youll do here

• Own the technical relationship with prospects through presales and efficiently manage towards a technical win

• Demo the Coder platform from both the developer and administrator personas

• Install Coder on cloud and onprem Kubernetes or VM infrastructure

• Run proofofconcepts that prove Coders value and accelerate deals

• Evolve into a subjectmatter expert on Cloud Development Environments and their business impact

• Serve as the customers voice routing insights to Engineering and Product

• Log feature requests and issues in our public/private Git repositories

• Troubleshoot Coder deployments networking and Kubernetes components

• Contribute pull requests to Coders documentation

• Postsales support when needed

What were looking for

• 3 years as a Sales Engineer selling infrastructure or developer tooling

• Strong customerfacing skills that win trust with technical stakeholders

• Ability to translate technical hurdles into business value in real time

• Understand agentic AI software development use cases and advocate passionately where appropriate

• Comfortable leading architecture demos and deepdive troubleshooting sessions

• Familiar with enterprise procurement processes and stakeholder dynamics

• Deep Linux fundamentals and comfort at the command line

• 3 years handson with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with AWS Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure

• 3 years with Terraform or comparable infrastructureascode tooling

• Solid grasp of networking: ingress controllers proxies load balancers

• Startupspeed execution ownership mindset and a playercoach attitude

Bonus tacos if you have

• Success at both highgrowth startups and larger software vendors

• Background in CI/CD DevOps or developerplatform products

• Experience in platform engineering or developer platform teams

• Kubernetes AWS or related certifications

Interview process
