SUMMARY: Pasteurizer is responsible for strictly adhering to all food safety quality assurance and GMP policies and procedures during processing. Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor/Manager The Pasteurizer will be responsible for ensuring all known pathogens are pasteurized and the product is homogenized. This position is also responsible for running and maintaining pasteurization units homogenizers batching equipment and other related equipment within the dairy production environment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with willingness to work overtime extra days and holidays

Pay Rate: $25.45/h

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Work closely with cooler and supervision.
  • Keep production and loadout going in a timely manner.
  • Document each move made on jockey sheet turn in documentation to production office.
  • Responsible for documentation of any damage to tractors or trailers and the reporting of such.
  • Responsible for recording hub milage fuel levels temperature checks and fuel pumps readings.
  • Help out wherever needed in production or loadout keep area clean and make sure doors are closed at all times.
  • All employees are expected to support the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program by following food safety and quality procedures maintaining hygiene and cleanliness and reporting any concerns. Team members must understand their role in the SQF System complete required training and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement to ensure safe high-quality products.
  • Must be able to lift bend push pull reach climb stand.
  • Must be willing to assist in other duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Class A CDL
  • Minimum high school diploma with higher education or certification preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to work required hours and able to work overtime when needed.
  • Must proactively direct value-added work under slack conditions.
