Job Summary

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Engagement Lead Data Center Exercises for driving business participation in enterprise-wide data center exercises. This role ensures that business teams are effectively engaged prepared and supported throughout the lifecycle of each exercise from planning through execution and post-exercise activities.


In this role key responsibilities are:

Exercise Planning & Execution

  • Partner with the planning coordination and execution of 45 annual data center exercises involving business teams and ensure compliant business participation the Enterprise resiliency exercise.
  • Partner with Technology and Enterprise teams to align on scope timelines and deliverables.
  • Partner in the managing of detailed exercise plans including participant identification training and logistics.

Business Engagement & Preparation

  • Identify and engage appropriate business participants for each exercise.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure participants are prepared and understand their roles.
  • Serve as a contact for business teams throughout the exercise lifecycle.

Exception Management

  • Review application participation exception data including: Applications descoped from the exercise Applications exempt from participation Applications moved to a different participation Wave
  • Prepare documentation and obtain appropriate Business leadership approval for all exercise exceptions.

Post-Exercise Activities

  • Participate in Business-level after-action reviews document Business lessons learned and provide exercise feedback to the Enterprise and Technology.
  • Track and follow up on Business remediation items and improvement opportunities.

Program Representation & Continuous Improvement

  • Represent business interests in cross-functional forums focused on program enhancements and tool changes.
  • Provide input into the design and implementation of improvements to exercise processes and supporting tools.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Business Execution Implementation or Strategic Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas.
  • Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders.
  • PowerPoint skills. Experience preparing and delivering effective executive summaries Board level materials status reports for management and senior leaders
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in proactive detection of patterns and trends.
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility initiative and accountability and develop pragmatic solutions.
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities. Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change.
  • Experience in business continuity disaster recovery or operational resilience within the financial service industry
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Technology and Enterprise functions.


Job Expectations:

  • In-office hybrid schedule offers up to two days working remotely each week or per current Wells Fargo policy.

Locations: Chandler AZ and Charlotte NC only

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119000.00 - $187000.00
