The PreK Substantially Separate Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students ages 3 -5 in a substantially separate Pre-K classroom that are identified with developmental delay autism and communication disabilities that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum : Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components. Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources equipment materials technology and instructional strategies. Provide differentiated instruction based on the students individual level of functioning and preferred learning modalities. Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff. Develop teaches and reviews clear and concise classroom rules routines procedures and expectations. Develop a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and non-instructional activities for each paraprofessional. Maintain constant and ongoing communication regarding students and all facets of the program. Follow the appropriate chain of command when questions issues and/or concerns arise. Accurately complete all required paperwork within the designated timelines. Complete Pre-K Evaluations
