This is a vital hands-on role requiring a dedicated individual to manage the security cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises working autonomously under the direction of the senior leadership team.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Operational Security: Key holder responsibility managing alarm systems and securing the premises outside of school hours.
- Maintenance: Carrying out minor repairs decorative work and coordinating larger maintenance works with external contractors.
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively with teaching staff to set up facilities for events and ensuring the premises are ready for the daily school schedule.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract: Full-Time Permanent (52 weeks per year).
- Salary Range: 33000 - 39000 per annum depending on experience.
- Essential Requirements: Strong practical skills (DIY maintenance) and a proactive approach to health and safety (e.g. basic H&S qualification).
- Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and a highly supportive school environment.
