About the Role
As the Psychology & Sociology Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Psychology and Sociology across KS4KS5
Planning and delivering engaging academically challenging lessons
Supporting students through exam preparation coursework and extended projects
Encouraging debate critical analysis and independent thought
Contributing to departmental planning assessment strategies and resource development
Leading or supporting enrichment activities such as social science clubs guest lectures or research projects
Participating actively in whole-school life including form tutoring and co-curricular commitments

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Psychology Sociology or a related discipline
PGCE with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching up to A-Level
Experience in independent schools advantageous but not essential

Excellent communication organisation and interpersonal skills
