Duration: 12/01/2025 07/01/2026 (1000 hours max possibility of extension or temp-to-hire)

Job Summary

We are seeking Help Desk Technician I professionals to provide front-line technical support and outstanding customer service. The selected candidates will respond to inbound calls and emails troubleshoot hardware/software issues manage user accounts and ensure all support requests are properly documented and resolved in a timely manner. This role is fully onsite and may include occasional work outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone email and in person.

  • Gather analyze and troubleshoot customer issues to determine appropriate solutions.

  • Perform basic IT support tasks such as password resets printer configuration break/fix support and website content updates.

  • Create user accounts and configure hardware during employee onboarding.

  • Support audio/video equipment in conference rooms.

  • Follow documented procedures to resolve more complex configurations.

  • Document all support interactions in the ticketing system and escalate issues as needed.

  • Communicate recurring issues or trends to management.

  • Work onsite Monday Friday during business hours (8 AM 5 PM) with potential after-hours work when authorized.

  • Comply with security and background check requirements as mandated by Texas law.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of delivering excellent customer service across phone email and in-person channels.

  • 2 years of experience assisting users with varying levels of technical expertise.

  • 2 years supporting computers Microsoft Office Suite Windows 10 Adobe products and general troubleshooting.

  • 1 year of experience with Active Directory.

  • 1 year of experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA A ITF or equivalent IT certification.

  • Strong desire for long-term growth and advancement within the organization.

  • Interest in potential temp-to-hire conversion (within 6 months).

  • Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (State holidays excluded)
