Pay: $39.85 - $41.05 p/h (Depending on experience) Super

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart youll take charge of your own room leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. Youll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe inform and continuously improve our teaching practices. About Goodstart Townsville
Goodstart Townsville delivers a flexible play-based program that honours each childs unique learning journey supported by a passionate relationship-focused team.
As a Senior Educator (Lead Educator) in our Toddlers Room you will:
- Working in a full-time position in a rotating roster between centres operating hours 6:30am 6pm.
- Lead the 23 year old room with the maximum capacity of 10-children in a room.Creating a warm predictable and engaging environment.
- Design and implement play-based child-led programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
- Mentor and support educators modelling best practice and positive leadership.
- Build strong respectful partnerships with families as a key point of contact.
- Work closely with the leadership team in supporting continuous improvement.

Youll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
