Job Summary

Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This role will primarily focus on maintaining a strong General Ledger function while supporting cost accounting activities within a dynamic fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented collaborative and comfortable leading day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the monthly quarterly and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements

Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger including journal entries reconciliations accruals and variance analysis

Support cost accounting functions including standard costing inventory valuation and overhead allocations

Partner with FP&A and operations to provide financial insights and support decision-making across the business

Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls accounting policies and process documentation

Lead audits and prepare supporting documentation for external auditors and regulatory compliance

Mentor and support junior accounting staff while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

Participate in system enhancements and efficiency initiatives to scale with company growth

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required

5 years of progressive accounting experience including strong GL ownership

Experience in cost accounting or supporting manufacturing operations preferred

Strong systems skills with ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)

Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving evolving environment
