What you will do
Are you an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in CCTV and Access Controls Were looking for a talented professional to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge security solutions. How you will do it
As aLead Design Engineer you will:
- Design and deliver advanced CCTV and Access Control systems including new builds and system upgrades.
- Support sales teams with technical input conduct site surveys and participate in system acceptance testing.
- Produce detailed schematics parts lists specifications schedules and wiring/equipment layouts.
- Perform technical calculations (e.g. network bandwidth power heat dissipation) and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with commissioning engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system setupwhether remotely in-office or on-site.
What we look for
- Proven experience in theSecurity industry specifically withCCTV systemsandAccess Control.
- Strong knowledge of:
- IP and analogue CCTV components
- Access Control systems
- IP networking copper fibre and wireless communications
- PC server/client architecture
- Familiarity with leading VMS and ACS platforms such asC-Cure Lenel Genetec and Synergy.
- Bonus: Experience with Intruder BMS systems and legacy protocols (RS232 RS485).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
- A flexible self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
