Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our this role you will support the development implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency reduce waste and ensure product quality. This is a great opportunity for recent engineering graduates looking to begin their career in a hands-on fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design development and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Collaborate with production quality and design teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operations.
- Oversee implementation of shop floor improvement projects and document progress.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes into production (NPI).
- Prepare and maintain documentation including work instructions process flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action efforts (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GD&T SPC or FMEA.
- Experience with automation or CNC machining a plus.
- Experience in Welding and Fabrication processes a plus.
The base salary range for this role is $76100 to $114200. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location level job-related knowledge skills experience and performance.
