Job Summary
Job Summary
- Location: Tempe Milk Plant Tempe AZ 85282
- Schedule: 4pm 2am four 10-hour shifts (Sunday Wednesday); Thursday Friday Saturday off
- Assignment: Temporary position with potential for extension; not eligible for conversion to full-time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical and electrical support for all plant components systems and subsystems
- Perform repairs replacements and adjustments on installed equipment
- Maintain structural integrity of the facility as directed
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment (preferably food manufacturing)
- Understanding of engineering theory and plant operations principles
- Knowledge of:
- Homogenizers Blow Molds
- Electrical Distribution (480V/60Hz/3 Phase)
- Welding (a plus)
- Proficient in using tools and techniques with limited supervision
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals plant drawings and schematics
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- General knowledge of plant equipment including:
- Boiler operations
- Fluid heat exchangers
- Refrigeration/cooling systems
- Air compressor operations
- Electrical/electronic controls
- Welding operations
- Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles
