Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior People & Culture Manager to own and lead all aspects of the People function across Raydas global team. This role is both strategic and hands-on ensuring a seamless employee experience from recruitment to offboarding while nurturing a strong inclusive and high-performing culture in our remote-first environment.
You will report directly to the leadership team and partner closely with department heads to align People strategy with Raydas business objectives. While you will initially operate as a standalone function you will have the opportunity to build out the People team as we scale.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Global People Operations: Oversee the full employee lifecycle for all team members worldwide including recruitment onboarding performance management and offboarding.
Culture & Engagement: Champion Raydas values promote inclusion and design initiatives that enhance team engagement well-being and productivity.
Compliance: Maintain and adapt HR policies to ensure compliance with local labour laws across multiple countries starting with Nigeria and key operational markets.
Talent Acquisition: Partner with leadership and hiring managers to identify talent needs manage global hiring processes and maintain a strong candidate experience.
Performance & Development: Implement performance review cycles career growth frameworks and learning & development initiatives.
People Analytics: Track and analyse HR metrics to inform decisions and improve retention engagement and team performance.
Leadership Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on organisational design workforce planning and change management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration Psychology or related field.
5 years experience in HR/People roles with at least 2 years in a senior or function-lead capacity.
Proven experience supporting remote or distributed teams across multiple countries.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law; familiarity with global HR compliance is an advantage.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with cultural sensitivity.
Highly organised process-driven and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
HR certification (CIPD SHRM HRCI or equivalent) is a plus.
