Facility Manager needed in LA!
Pay: Up to $42/hr!
Schedule: Day Shift Monday thru Friday
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the plant operations team ensuring effective maintenance safety CMMS usage and regulatory compliance.
Manage facility budgets and monitor financial performance for operational spending.
Track KPIs/SLAs and implement corrective action plans when performance falls below standards.
Oversee maintenance activities capital projects and vendor performance for critical systems and equipment.
Ensure all staff are properly trained and follow safety and regulatory procedures.
Maintain compliance with applicable state federal and local regulations including life-safety and environmental standards.
Ensure all building systems equipment and documentation meet required codes and compliance expectations.
Perform additional facility-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in facility management plant operations engineering or maintenance leadership.
Proven supervisory experience with budget oversight and team management.
Strong communication organizational and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CMMS/Work Order systems Microsoft Office and related tools.
Ability to oversee vendor work during regular and after-hours periods.
Preferred:
Degree in engineering facilities or related field; trade school or apprenticeship background also valued.
Professional certifications such as CHFM CPMM or CFM.
Experience managing multiple facilities or diverse environments.
