You will join the Network Components Business Unit in Milan.
What will you do
- You will work on product modularityandstandardizationacross engineering designs.
- Manage and maintain product codesBills of Materials (BOMs) and related documentation.
- You will control and optimizeproduct costs supporting cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support and assist in the product strategy and in the development of customer-facing features
- Leadphase-in/phase-outactivities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions.
- You will ensurecompliance with industry standardsand regulatory requirements.
- You will work with different teams asProduct ManagementOperations and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals.
- Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation and SAP for product data management and process integration.
- Collaborate with product development teams to identify and implement technical improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field).
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations.
- Experience in technical design and product management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and SAP
- Previous experience in practical laboratory work including testing and prototyping is considered a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various technical challenges.
- You are fluent in English
