We are seeking a passionate and well-qualified English Teacher to join our Senior School. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging high-quality lessons that promote strong literacy critical thinking and a love of literature. Deliver inspiring and interactive English lessons that support and challenge all students.
Plan and implement high-quality schemes of work aligned with the schools curriculum.
Assess track and report on student progress ensuring strong academic development.
Create a supportive inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Contribute to pastoral duties and the holistic well-being of students.
Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching learning and assessment.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote best practice and consistency.
Participate in co-curricular activities clubs and school events as part of community life.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognized teaching qualification (BEd PGCE or equivalent) and a degree in a relevant field.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
Strong classroom practice and the ability to secure good progress for all learners.
Outstanding organizational and planning skills.
A positive flexible attitude and openness to innovation and development.
Experience with IGCSE and/or IB programmes (highly desirable).
