- Deliver inspiring and interactive English lessons that support and challenge all students.
- Plan and implement high-quality schemes of work aligned with the schools curriculum.
- Assess track and report on student progress ensuring strong academic development.
- Create a supportive inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Contribute to pastoral duties and the holistic well-being of students.
- Use ICT effectively to enhance teaching learning and assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote best practice and consistency.
- Participate in co-curricular activities clubs and school events as part of community life.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognized teaching qualification (BEd PGCE or equivalent) and a degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
- Strong classroom practice and the ability to secure good progress for all learners.
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills.
- A positive flexible attitude and openness to innovation and development.
- Experience with IGCSE and/or IB programmes (highly desirable).
