Compensation: $36.04 - $36.04/hour

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter CADD Operator II to support accurate data processing and record management at Naval Base Kitsap this role you will operate computer-based and electronic data entry devices to transcribe and code information from a variety of source documents. The position requires applying experience and judgment to select appropriate procedures interpret data and ensure records are entered correctly for system processing.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing several views of a simple gear system from a layout and manual references and obtaining dimensions and tolerances from manualsand bymeasuring the layout.

  • Preparing and revising detail and design drawings for such projects as the construction and installation of electrical or electronic equipment plant wiring and the manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards.

  • Drawing base and elevation views sections and details of new bridges or other structures revising complete sets of roadway drawings for construction projects or preparing block mapsindicatingwater and sewage line locations.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED is .

  • Minimum 3 years experience working with CADD programs.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Experience with recent versions of AutoCAD is .

  • Understanding of terminology and practices of mechanical electrical architectural and civil engineering design and construction management preferred.

  • AutoCAD Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • May be to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be .

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • A valid state drivers license is with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
