Job Summary
This is manual to semi-skilled work in performing maintenance and janitorial tasks relating to the operation of public recreation facilities. An employee of this class performs a variety of janitorial duties and basic building maintenance and repair tasks and assists with the operation of specialized equipment found in assigned facilities. Some independence of action and judgement are exercised. A supervisor reviews work performance periodically in terms of satisfactory performance and adherence to established practices procedures and policies.
The Training Manual Requirements pre-qualifications for this position are:
- Building Service Worker Certificate (approved minimum 16-hour course i.e. RFABC)
The Class Specification requires a Valid Class 5 Drivers License for the Province of B.C is a job requirement.
