About the Role

We are currently looking for an Animal Care Specialist to join our Housing Team. Reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor the successful candidate must have a good knowledge of livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls. Hay silage and manure handling are part of the regular job duties. This is an in-person part time role working alternating Saturdays and Sundays on a 12 month contract.

What You Will Do:

Semen Collection
Feeding and caring for bulls
Operating farm equipment
Seasonal crop work
Mechanical and manual barn cleaning

What You Need to Succeed:

Ability and experience operating farm equipment; solid mechanical aptitude
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
A high school diploma
A valid drivers license
Strong agricultural experience including handling and caring for livestock
