Position: Screening & Referral Therapist
Location: Hays Kansas
Pay: $64218 salary $325 sign-on bonus
Job Type: Full-Time In-Person
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm OR 9am-6pm

What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new patients identifying psychological social and physical needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services for scheduled and unscheduled appointments including assessing risk de-escalation and making appropriate referrals.
- Offer guidance and resources about available services including mental health substance use and community support programs.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation in compliance with Center policies ensuring timely completion of charts reports and referrals.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and clinical supervision actively seeking and applying feedback to enhance therapeutic skills and patient care.
- Collaborate with other Center programs and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Support patients in accessing community resources making referrals and following up on progress as needed.

- Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology Social Work Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy)
- Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following:
o Licensed Psychologist Licensed Master Level Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist
o Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker
o Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience)
o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
- Valid drivers license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
- Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment drug screening
