Description

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft while complying with company and FAA rules and regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Lead Mechanic.
  • Comply with all company rules and regulations regarding industrial safety.
  • Complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with standard practices and procedures established by the Lead Mechanic and relevant manuals.
  • Maintain equipment tools and the workplace in a clean and organized fashion.
  • Perform job functions with the highest standards of safety quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with piston-powered General Aviation aircraft
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams charts and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using computerized aircraft maintenance programs and manuals.
  • Quantum MX proficiency is a plus.
  • Able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Must demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Candidates must possess their own tools and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently with adherence to company policies.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required.
