Adjunct Women's Ministry

The College of Christian Studies is receiving applications for the position of adjunct instructor/professor for undergraduate-level coursework in Womens Ministry offered through the traditional full-term B.A. program. Pay is based on level of education and course enrollment.

North Greenville University is a teaching university of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Candidates for adjunct positions in the College of Christian Studies are expected to be convictional Baptists who affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) to maintain membership in a local church in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention and to teach in accordance with and not contrary to the universitys Statement on Human Flourishing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach an undergraduate-level hybrid course in Womens Ministry as assigned by the dean and the associate dean.
• Effectively utilize and monitor the Canvas platform and other learning management systems.
• Appropriately maintain student records grades and attendance to ensure accuracy and security.
• Meet all university deadlines for syllabi and grade submission.
• In a timely and professional manner communicate with and respond to communications from students administrators and other university personnel.

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility: Able to move between buildings and attend classes meetings and functions across campus.
• Speaking: Frequently convey detailed or important instructions and ideas accurately professionally and with a contextually appropriate tone and volume.
• Cognitive/Emotional: Ability to think critically and express emotions and thoughts in an honest collegial constructive and prudent manner.

Working Relationships and Schedule

Adjunct instructors/professors who teach traditional courses will report in all matters related to teaching these courses to the associate dean of the college.

• Ministry experience in teaching discipleship and leadership is required.
• Prior teaching experience is appreciated.
• Significant graduate level coursework in theology Bible or ministry is required preferably a terminal degree in one of these fields.
