Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Software Development to drive innovation modernization and feature development across our global development teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future direction of our technology stack and software solutions directly impacting our global customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor geographically distributed software development teams fostering collaboration agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Drive the modernization and transformation of our software platforms focusing on scalable architecture cloud migration strategies and cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service Technical Sales and directly with clients to ensure alignment with market needs customer expectations and strategic business objectives.
- Participate in technical sales engagements providing expertise for customer presentations and technical proposals
- Oversee strategic planning execution and delivery of complex software projects ensuring timely completion and exceptional quality.
- Research evaluate and recommend vendors and tools that support evolving customer and industry needs.
- Ensure software development practices and deliverables adhere to security best practices proactively mitigating cybersecurity risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Significant experience in managing and proactively developing high-performing software development teams emphasizing mentorship professional growth and talent retention.
- Proven track record in software development lifecycle management agile methodologies and continuous delivery processes.
- Strong experience with modern software architectures using ecosystem with an openness to embracing emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across departments and regions.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits sales engagements and internal coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in industrial manufacturing or pulp and paper sectors.
- Experience with no-code/low-code architectures.
- Previous involvement in customer-facing roles including supporting technical sales customer presentations and crafting responses to RFPs/RFQs.
- Experience in cloud-based software architectures (Azure AWS or similar).

FLSA Designation (US Only):
Exempt
The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $160000.00 - $240000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation and to provide greater transparency to applicants we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based upon geographic location candidate experience and expertise and other relevant factors.
Other Compensation (US Only):
This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
Full time employees will also be eligible for enrollment in a wide range of choices of benefits including medical dental vision basic life insurance short/long term disability 401(k) participation (with company match).
