Radiation Therapist Contract
Location: New York NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day (8:00 AM4:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $40$42/hr
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiation Therapist Contractfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy according to oncologist prescriptions and verify all dosage parameters.
Capture and review port images ensuring timely physician approval.
Prepare treatment rooms equipment and immobilization devices.
Position patients accurately and clearly explain procedures.
Monitor patient responses and promptly report any changes.
Maintain detailed treatment documentation and perform daily QA/safety checks.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions; maintain a clean organized workspace.
Assist with chart checks scheduling coordination and student therapist training.
Participate in rounds and consistently follow all safety and quality standards.
Requirements
Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam and Mosaiq EMR.
Minimum 1 year of clinical radiation therapy experience (2 years preferred).
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy program.
ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and active NY State License.
