As the Business Development Manager supporting the Government Banking segment you will develop support and manage regional and national community opportunities for government entities. You will be a key player in the Community & Business Development (CBD) organization and your role will be to support field management by implementing strategies that enhance our impact and growth. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Growth you will work closely with CBD leadership One Chase JPMC partners and other functional groups. You must be able to work independently influence leadership coach behaviors and manage your workload efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Support JPMorganChases mission to be the bank for all the easiest to do business with and trusted in our communities.
- Manage 5-15 regional/national relationships within the Government Banking segment with the ability to pivot to support other vertical segments as needed including Higher Education Healthcare Non-profit and Middle Market.
- Connect stakeholders to firm resources including One JPMC partners and local Community Managers.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for Divisional Directors Community Directors and JPMC partners the role will be responsible for key initiatives such as market entry activation andassessing current relationships and identifying opportunities to deepen involvement by collaborating with Government Bankers.
- Create an engagement plan with standardized offerings; align resources and goals with partners and entities and regularly monitor and report progress.
- Partner with local One Chase to offer Financial Health Workshops to employees of government entities.
- Recommend solutions to deliver on strategic opportunities for CBD employees and One Chase partners.
- Scale business development function leading to standardized best practices and added value for LOB partners.
Required qualifications skills and capabilities
- Minimum of 7 years of business development within the government sector.
- Ability to connect business results to behaviors and influence leadership.
- Passionate authentic bold and a team player.
- Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills and ability to create executive-level summaries.
- Expert knowledge of Chase ecosystem and experience in coaching behaviors.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
