Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to deploy manage administer and support the Information Technology infrastructure. This position will also be responsible for server administration.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Good Understanding of virtualization technology.

VMware ESX Management and Troubleshooting.

Intermediate knowledge of Switching and vLan NIC Teaming.

Experience in VMware Guests Templates P2V Capacity Planner VMotion DRS etc

Basic working knowledge of SAN.

Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues.

VMware ESX Management Patching and Troubleshooting.

VMware (ESX / vSphere) support Experience VCP certification.

Experience in high-level diagnostics & troubleshooting of VMware ESX

Excellent troubleshooting and System Administration skills on VMware products and tools

HA engineering for architecture on VMware DRS cluster environment.

Change Management / Problem Management on VMware ESX 5.x and 6.x and Virtual Center 5.x and 6.x.

Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Telecommunications or a related field

o Minimum (3) years of experience related to administration and support of VMware administration.

o Minimum (3) years of experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies such as IBM Dell HP and Cisco UCS and experience with VMWare administration.

Other Position Requirements

Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information

Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

VMWare certifications such as VCP Nutanix & CISCO UCS
