This position is working 3rd shift Monday through Friday 10:30pm - 7:00am
- Act as the shift technical expert in setting up and running sheet extrusion and injection molding equipment.
- Perform timely startups and shutdowns to maximize productivity and reduce unnecessary downtime.
- Follow standard processes and make adjustments when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and make minor mechanical and electrical repairs to equipment.
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
- Perform all aspects of the job in a safe manner and observing all safety regulations.
- Conduct periodic safety checks and involving the team in identifying and resolving unsafe conditions.
- Work with machine operators and quality technicians to monitor and inspect the quality of finished goods.
- Effectively communicate with other manufacturing personnel to meet production objectives and company goals.
- Identify process bottlenecks and devise solutions to resolve and communicate suggested changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes and operating procedures.
- Provide support to production operations and engineering to maintain evaluate and improve processes.
- Recommend changes or upgrades to equipment work methods or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor energy and raw materials.

- 5 years of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
- Diverse technical background in plastics processing tooling equipment materials manufacturing and quality.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and using safe manufacturing practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills.
- Ability to develop deliver and validate learning on all required production lines.
- Positive proactive attitude that is both collaborative and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to learn and effectively operate the production equipment with complete understanding of all processes.
- Set and manage multiple priorities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
