We are looking for a Sr HVAC Technician to work in Des Moines IA supporting our client.

About the Role

Are you an experienced HVAC technician ready to take your career to the next level Were looking for a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing customer-focused team. Youll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including hot water systems DX systems chillers and more across a diverse territory.

This role balances technical expertise with hands-on service and its ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose repair and maintain HVAC systems including hot water DX chillers cooling towers fan systems VFDs and low voltage controls
Conduct equipment inspections start-ups commissioning and preventative maintenance
Provide technical training and support to clients and team members
Identify opportunities for new services and solutions
Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo Burlington Grinnell eastern Iowa western Illinois Missouri to Minnesota)
Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems

Must-Have:

5 years of HVAC experience expertise in hot water DX systems chillers VRV/VRF and low voltage controls
Valid HVAC license and EPA certification
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined/elevated spaces.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License

Nice-to-Have:

Daikin training experience with VFDs
Industrial refrigeration technical training or certifications beyond high school
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
Previous experience in large-scale commercial or industrial facilities.
