Job Summary
The Housekeeping Manager leads the housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness guest satisfaction and efficiency at Sheraton San this role you will oversee all housekeeping operations ensuring that every guest experience reflects our commitment to service excellence.
The salary for this position is $70000 - $80000 annually based on experience.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
- Scheduling includes holidays nights and weekends
Candidate Profile
- Previous Marriott experience preferred
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment
- Strong ability to manage teams effectively with a focus on coaching and mentoring associates
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs regularly.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure Housekeeping and Laundry operations meet or exceed 4 Diamond and Sheraton Brand service standards
- Recruit select and retain a best-in-class operations team
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless communication and smooth operations throughout the resort
- Manage department budgets and expenses including labor costs supplies and equipment needs in partnership with the Director of Housekeeping.
- Oversee the execution of projects as assigned.
- Ensure associates have supplies equipment tools and uniforms necessary to perform their jobs.
- Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Train and develop associates on 4 Keys service standards technical skills standard operation procedures and safety standards.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust respect and cooperation among associates.
- Follow all additional duties assigned by management
