E-logic is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to act as a liaison between FDOTs business units and the technical team ensuring the new LRS solution aligns precisely with operational needs. This role is critical for defining the scope of work and translating high-level objectives into actionable technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the effort to document business requirements for geospatial feature improvements within the operational LRS.
- Analyze designated user/business needs and processes within the FDOT organization to assess problem situations or opportunities and define technical solutions.
- Participate on implementation teams including requirements gathering work flow analysis system implementation and testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical functions to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business process diagrams and functional specifications.
- Conduct quality control for GIS technology and troubleshoot issues analyzing and assessing various data sets for accuracy completeness and usability.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment preferably supporting GIS or geospatial data systems.
- Strong knowledge of workflow analysis requirements elicitation and documentation methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linear Referencing System (LRS) concepts and transportation data (e.g. roadway characteristics).
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both technical teams and business executives.
