Ashford Hospital Stomal/Wound/Continence Manager
Level 3 Registered Nurse 0.8 - 1.0 FTE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Registered Nurses for the role of Stomal/Wound/Continence Manager. We are seeking a dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with demonstrated expertise and proven experience in stomal wound and continence nursing and a passion for service excellence.
About the role:
Providing evidence-based care to patients requiring Stoma Wound and Continence management
Patient centred Stoma care coordination
Providing supportive care to patients and their families/carers
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Liaise with external providers to ensure patients receive supplies education and follow up as required
Work with others to improve consumer and community engagement around the issues relating to Stomas Wounds and Continence issues

About you:
Minimum four years experience as a Registered Nurse
Completion of Graduate Certificate in Stomal Therapy Nursing from a recognised provider
Proven experience in care coordination and time management
Strong clinical skills interpersonal skills and the ability to monitor own practice to provide quality care
Competent in the use of IT systems
Demonstrate a sound understanding of NSQHS National Standards and relevant polices
