Job Summary
We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with deep Oracle Database expertise to lead the integration of advanced AI capabilities across our database offerings. As part of the Database AI Program Office you will identify and execute integration opportunities collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive scalable and innovative AI solutions within Oracle Database. This high-impact technical role is focused on enhancing the AI experience for our customers and aligning with Oracles broader AI strategy.

Responsibilities

- Identify integration opportunities and architect unified AI solutions leveraging your expertise in Oracle Database.
- Design scalable secure and maintainable architectures using cloud-native microservices and event-driven systems.
- Lead architecture reviews develop proofs-of-concept and solve complex technical challenges related to AI integration.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish architectural standards ensure quality and promote best practices across AI and database projects.
- Promote and ensure best practices for performance reliability security and compliance.
- Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership in Oracle Database technologies to engineering teams while remaining hands-on with implementation.
- Collaborate closely with technical leaders to align integration efforts and accelerate AI innovation.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96800 to $223400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
