Job Summary

Join Coinford Specialists in Groundworks and Concrete Frames
We are looking for experienced finishing operatives to deliver high-quality slabs kerbs edgings and shallow drainage installations. Become part of a reliable forward-thinking team with strong long-term opportunities across multiple projects.

Essential Role Requirements

Competent in reading drawings and all relevant setting-out documentation
Skilled in installing kerbs edgings paving and slabs to a high finishing standard
Experienced in shallow drainage works including:
- Correct set-up and use of trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes
- Use of pipe lasers
- Laying concrete clay and plastic pipes of various sizes
- Ensuring correct bedding surround testing and backfilling
- Benching manholes to required specifications
Confident working around live services and applying safe service-avoidance techniques
Strong understanding of materials and construction methods relating to:
- External works
- Road formation and make-up
- Kerbing slab laying block paving and hard/soft landscaping
Ability to carry out daily pre-start plant inspections basic maintenance and report service needs promptly to site management

Desirable

Additional CPCS/NPORS* qualifications (Telehandler Dumper Roller)
510 years experience in skilled groundworks and finishing
Established working gangs/teams encouraged to apply

General Expectations

Reliable punctual and professional
Able to work effectively with other trades and support on-programme delivery
Must have the legal right to work in the UK
