Senior Business Systems Analyst (Capital Markets)

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office (Toronto) at a minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.


As a Senior Consultant Business Systems Analysis you will be responsible for executing business and system analysis activities within a matrix organization in order to advance assigned business initiatives and ensure project success.

You will act as a liaison between project stakeholders by serving as single point of contact with respect to requirement expertise requirement management process and will actively participate in all phases of a project life cycle. This role requires interaction with multiple Regulatory Compliance and Operations Management groups as well as other Technology teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You can demonstrate experience with: 7 or more years of experience in a business systems analyst role handling user story documentation requirements gathering.

You have experience working within an Agile environment as a member of a technology team responsible for supporting applications involving client and regulatory data.

Understanding of Capital Markets products and regulatory reporting processes (such as AML/KYC Risk Assessment etc.) is a ideal.

You have clear articulation and communication skills detail oriented and organized in nature; can lead in testing of system changes and coordinate User Acceptance Testing by creating and executing Test Plans; will be able to assess research analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with project deliverables.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have skills:
8 years of relevant career BSA experience in agile environments
5 years experience in Capital Markets (preferably in Regulatory Reporting)
3 years experience using SQL queries
Experience in System Analysis
Experience in writing user stories
Experience in requirements analysis and quality documentation
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excel - vLookup / pivot tables

*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.
