As a Senior Financial Reporting & Delivery Accountant youll contribute to end-to-end statutory and regulatory reporting for Suncorp Group and its subsidiaries. This role offers the opportunity to influence governance processes partner with senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes that shape business decisions.
What Youll Do
- Prepare and deliver financial and regulatory reports for executives Board Audit Committee and regulators ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Partner with internal teams and external auditors to manage audit processes and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate governance activities including management certifications and representation letters across multiple entities
- Identify and implement process improvements automation opportunities and risk reduction strategies to enhance efficiency
- Maintain robust documentation and internal controls aligned with Finance Services Advice Protocols
What Youll Bring
- CA or CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting Commerce or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial reporting within financial services or Big 4 audit
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements including APRA and ASIC standards
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate complex information clearly
- Proven capability to manage deadlines and adapt in a dynamic environment
