Caraniche is looking for a Team Leader with experience in the delivery and/or oversight of service provision of individual and group alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment to lead our successful and supportive KickStart team (based in Abbotsford). Primary duties include the operational management of a clinical service team leadership stakeholder relationship building and contributing to the overall success of Social Justice Services and the broader Caraniche strategy.
The KickStart team within Caraniches Social Justice Services division has a team of clinicians clinical support staff and placement students who deliver structured group and individual criminogenic AOD and behaviour change programs to offenders on community-based orders. The team focuses on providing high quality alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services to mandated clients across several metropolitan and regional catchment areas as funded by the Department of Health. Clinical services are delivered in a variety of formats including face-to-face online and via a digital platform (Tacklit). The KickStart team includes a variety of skill sets including AOD clinicians psychologists social workers program support officers and students on placement.
About You
You are a clinician and/or leader with either demonstrated experience within a team leader role or several years of clinical service delivery experience within an AOD treatment setting and are looking to take the next step in your career. Experience in the oversight/leadership of staff is not a prerequisite but a desire to actively develop and put into practice operational leadership skills is essential.
