Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm - Physician - Radiology

Join our team at a leading medical facility located in Springfield MA! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum to permanent position starting in February 2026. The hospital environment fosters collaboration and is equipped with advanced technology to provide excellent patient care. Experience working with a diverse patient demographic is important within a supportive team of radiologists.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret a range of imaging studies including mammography MRI CT PET/CT nuclear medicine ultrasound and pediatric studies.
Conduct interventional procedures such as breast and thyroid fine needle aspiration (FNA).
Collaborate with a team of radiologists to ensure quality and timely diagnoses.
Utilize electronic medical record systems (Epic/PowerScribe/PACS) for documentation purposes.
Provide tele-radiology services remotely 2-3 days per week as needed.
Engage with an average of 120 ER patients daily and assist in managing patient care for a wide age demographic.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Active Massachusetts Medical License.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Experience in a hospital-based setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current MA Medical License - REQUIRED
Board Certification or Board Eligibility - REQUIRED
ACLS and BLS certifications - REQUIRED
25k Conversion Fee - REQUIRED
Copy of the NPDB self-query report - REQUIRED must be recent (within the last month or within 90 days).
